Event Details

An exciting and interactive day for those who care about and for people with disabilities, this event will bring together expertise from all over our province as well as the Irish experience of Mary Kealy, C.E.O. of the Brothers of Charity, County Clare.   We'll spend the morning talking, asking questions in small groups and accessing the experiences of those in the room in ways that are fun, friendly, and passionately concerned about the importance of figuring out "Right Relationship."   In the afternoon we'll come together after a great lunch to debrief and the for a panel discussion that will draw on Mary's experience as an acknowledged leader in person-centered initiatives and agency change, and hopefully representatives from PLAN, Spectrum's Aaron Johannes and Susan Stanfield, Barb Goode,  self advocate and author of The Goode Life: the memoirs of international disability rights activist Barb Goode, herself a "Goode friend" to so many and Shelley Nessman.

This will be a great day for families, people with disabilities, those who support them, those in Human Resources, those new to the field looking for direction, and those responsible for supporting folks with disabilities to be included and interdependent.
